My comment about the money sounded stand-offish, or at least it did to me.

I guess what I really meant is that it feels good to know your writing is getting seen, especially when they are issues that touch a lot of people. It’s been a tough 6 months or so and I tend to be extra hard on myself, I think I have been questioning my writing style which can make a person back off a bit.
