Susan, this is SO true! I remember just a few teachers who really focused on Grammar but most of them did convey that what we wrote was more important.

I think there was a period in time (no pun intended) that I actually had my Grammar down fairly well. Boy, how one can lose that skill very fast if it’s not practiced consistently.

I can honestly say for myself, my usage of grammar is by habit and I know I have a lot I need to learn. Old habits die hard ;-)
