Susan Rooks, thank you for your generous observations! I agree, very few can function without enough sleep! Some people become nauseated, feel weak or just feel the need to lie down. If people go long enough being constantly sleep deprived (that wasn’t my situation) they can become physically ill, so sleep is vital.

It’s amazing because most of us that have experienced enough panic attacks understand that they are fully survivable. But, each time many have yet another, even if one is practicing what they were taught (deep breathing, mindfulness etc…) sometimes it’s impossible when you feel like you’re having extreme vertigo and feeling as though you’re going to pass out. I know sitting helps and I believe by sitting my brain begins to settle somewhat. I still have feeling rush through my mind that I feel like I’m dying, or maybe this isn’t panic this time and I am dying… that’s what happens to the brain. When it’s over, there is such a sense of relief to know that once again, it was a panic attack, even though it’s frustrating.

Thank you for your kind words Susan. I have met so many behind the scenes who suffer and we are able to share info that may be new, programs that may be worth looking into and just knowing we are not alone. This is way too common, I wish they had a cure but then again, I wish they had a cure for Cancer, I used to think when I was younger a cure would be in place by now for things like Cancer. :((
