Jeff, I’m sorry you have suffered for a long time too.
I’m glad you have it under control now. It sounds like running is helping you a lot!
I think many of us go through phases where we don’t experience panic attacks for long time… I know I was fairly lucky from around age 38–45 yrs old.
I’ve been through a long cycle again and I’m sure curve balls life can throw at us, changes (in my case, hormones) all contribute to the illness. My anxiety is always present, the panic attacks are much more unpredictable but have been more present over the past 3–4 years. They are not a welcome visitor ;-)
When I wrote this last night, I was a bit angry because I read what I consider dime store advice from people who read studies that are not proven as Scientific fact (there may be a correlation that exists) but not a cure… and some of the advice that is out there, is leading people down the wrong path. Many of these people are selling books and misleading people- preying on their weaknesses. That does anger me.
