I can’t imagine going days without sleep. I thought it was tough just going every night without sleep only to find myself drifting off for a few hours in the early evening or falling asleep near dawn, hearing the birds sing… reminding myself that most people are getting ready for work, getting breakfast and reading the paper while I’m just beginning to fall asleep.

I’ve only gone 48 hours without sleep at my longest and I thought I would fall over from dizziness and more. I can’t imagine 11 days.

Do you feel guilt (even though it’s not your fault), or have you accepted what is and has been? I feel a lot of guilt because I’m not able to be up and moving when the rest of the world is, including my family.

I hope you are able to find a remedy for your insomnia one day sooner than later… it has to tough- understatement.
