I’m sorry for your suffering, I can’t begin to imagine.

As for your points about Susan and how she could represent any woman who comes in with health issues only to have them dismissed as mental issues- sadly, there are still Doctors who do this. I find younger Doctors are better trained along with Doctors who aren’t burned out, are more equipped to take their patients seriously. Those who quick to dismiss symptoms as mental issues should either take a break or find another career.
