Developing a vaccine is complex. Trials take time, especially phase 3. Today Johnson & Johnson pulled out for now because someone in their study (phase 3, I think?) had a reaction. I want them to take their time. People need to see & understand the data when one is finally approved because there has been so much politics inserted, people have lost faith in the same institutions they trusted for years. It's not fair to the good Scientists who are working day & night on developing a good vaccine. However, this is our reality now- I pray sooner than not a good team is put together who can give us weekly updates, Dr's/Scientists, not politicians or Trump. As much as I want this to end, patience is a virtue because we want a very safe vaccine without another set of it's own problems. Phase 3 trials take time for a reason. Testing different age groups, immune compromised people, different races since it seems to be affecting Blacks and Latinos at a higher rate. It takes time to follow all these people over a period of months with the hope that there are no major set backs.

Bottom line: The FDA should not cave to pressure from the WH or anyone. They need to stay the course and keep in mind that the majority of American people are patient along with resilient. Most of us want proven results, not rhetoric.
