When you were growing up did your mother or father ask you if you had “butterflies in your stomach,” because you were excited or nervous about something? That’s just one symptom of Generalized Anxiety Disorder that those who suffer from it feel from the time they jump (crawl) out of bed in the morning until darkness falls upon them. It’s draining and can physically limit a person if you suffer daily from Generalized Anxiety Disorder that is untreated or hard to treat.
I have suffered from Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Panic Disorder for years. I suffered from Generalized Anxiety Disorder long before I was aware I had it. I just thought it was “my norm” to feel anxious ALL the time. Actually it was MY norm to feel anxious most of the time but I didn’t realize I had an illness until I suffered from my first full blown panic attack. )
I had been suffering from Vertigo ( a feeling that you are spinning or the room is spinning around you) for months without reprieve. I developed numerous ear infections when I was a young adult and had transient vertigo in the past. It always went away within 24 hours of beginning my antibiotic and anti-vertigo medicine. This particular episode didn’t clear up, 3 days later and I was still spinning.
